You have the power to positively impact the world around you. Don’t take this power lightly. Feed it.
At Spark the Leader, we believe that all people have a responsibility to continually grow and to use their talents to benefit the world around them. These seeds of impact rest deep in each of us, begging to get out there and do some good. We’re here to give you the tools and resources to release that positive impact and help you build your own unique legacy.
While the road to your impact is a gradual, curvy road, it’s absolutely attainable. We foster a growing library of life experiences of people just like you, some inspirational and some practical, to help you on your journey. They’ve traveled the road you’re on, and share their experiences for others.
As you settle into this community, we’d love your thoughts, too. Thanks for being part of this community.
Spark the Leader operates out of gorgeous Lexington, Kentucky, with Mike Hilton as the lead. Come join the ever-growing community of people building their unique impact and legacy.
Each of us is on our own unique journey, and we all have a positive impact ahead of us. We’ll do more good things if we learn from one another along the way, lifting each other up as we go. The more each of us uses our talents to positively impact the world around us, the more we all benefit.
This idea took root for Mike Hilton at the University of Dayton, a community based on servant leadership. It gained momentum through teaching high school and playing an active role in the lives of emerging leaders. It was published in Mike’s book, The Next Great You. You can also hear him talk about it on Selfish: The Podcast – Episode 3.3. And it continues to take shape at home in Lexington, KY, a vibrant community that brings ideas to life.
At home in Kentucky, Mike is the proud husband and dad of Team Hilton. He’s a believer in the powerful ability of food to bring people together, and is always looking for opportunities to break bread (or chili, or BBQ, or grilled things). And when it’s time to recharge, all he needs is his hiking boots and a dirt path.
As you settle into this community, let us know if you have any ideas about how the platform can better serve you. Thanks!
